The International Association of Astronomical Artists is proud to present “The Art of Space” art exhibition showing at the 2016 Space Tech Expo in Pasadena California, May 24th to the 26th 2016.
The 2016 Space Tech Expo is an annual conference held in California that has successfully established itself as the leading B2B exhibition and conference for the space and satellite industry on the West Coast and is the industry’s leading gathering for the entrepreneurs and innovators delivering on the promise of spaceflight for mankind.
This show will feature the works of artists Don Dixon present Art Director for the Griffin Observatory, Rick Sternbach Art Director for Star Trek Voyager, Aldo Spadoni President of Aerospace Imagineering, NASA Test Pilot and Artist Mark Penesta, and award winning space artists Marilynn Flynn, Earl Billick, and CoChairs and Founders of the Tucson-Chapter of the IAAA Michelle Rouch and Simon Kregar.
The International Association of Astronomical Artists, is a non-profit organization whose members implement and participate in astronomical and space art projects, promote education about space art and foster international cooperation in artistic work inspired by the exploration of the Universe.
The IAAA was founded in 1982 and was formally registered as an association of astronomical artists in 1986. Since its founding, the IAAA has grown to number over 140 members, representing twenty countries.
